Cooped Up with Croup
Hello all, sorry for the delay in writing and posting. We've been cooped up for the past 10 days...trying to get better. Last Monday, in the middle of the night, Sofia woke up with a fever and labored breathing. I took her to Urgent care, and found out she had Croup and ear infections. It is now 10 days later and she is just finishing up her cold which she very generously shared with me. So now I have a cold and can't wait to be better so we can go out and have some fun.

So sorry to hear Sofia had croup - what a horrible thing! My son has chronic croup, he gets it 3-4 times a year, we've had to call 911 3 times and take the ambulance to the ER in the middle of the night. It started for him when he was 1.5, and he's about to turn 5 now - some kids have it once or twice and never again, and some have it chronically, so just be prepared and call for help if you need it! I'm sure they went over taking her outside in the cold air, or bringing her into the bathroom with the hot shower running - but if not, you can learn all that online, or I would be happy to chat with you about it!
